Here, in running field, total 30,805 entrants are from over 98 countries, 24389 from United State, 5190 from Massachusetts, age ranges from 18-84.

Race start: 8:50am Mobility impaired at Hopkinton Start Line, 9:17am Push-rim wheelchair, 9:19am prw women, 9:22: handcycle; 9:32am Elite Women’s, 10am Elite Men’s and wave 1, 10:25am Wave 2, 10:50am Wave 3, 11:15am Wave 4, 11:56am Women’s Open Division expected finish time, 12:08pm Men’s Open Division expected finish time.

Boston Marathon, is organized by Boston Athletic Association—baa.org, and primarily sponsored by John Hancock Financial Services since 1897. Boston Marathon is a worldwide oldest road major racing.

26.2 miles course starts Hopkinton, via Ashland, Framingham, Natick, Wellesley (way of 1/2), then, Newton (Heartbreak), Brookline to Boylston St Copley Sq Finish Line.

Total award prize of $830,500 towards to top 15 women and men open finishers, with 1st place $150,000, secon $75,000, third 40,000, fourth 25,000, and fifth 15,000, Top 5 masters 1st $10,000 and top 10 wheelchair 1st $20,000. Winners awarded additionally olive wreath, medal and champions trophies. The race also impacts 188.8 million local economy.

7am, thousands of spectators early touched down the side of finish line, associated with third annual memorial for Marathon bombing survivors, and victims of Martin W. Richard, Krystle M. Campbell, Lingzi Lu and MIT police officer Sean A. Collier.

10:41am:, Men’s push rim wheelchair, Marcel Hug 30 yrs Switzerland 1:24:01 first ran over the finish line; Ernst Van Dyk, 43 years of RSASouth Africa came second of 1:24:02; Kurt Fearnley Aus. finishes third ends 1:24:03. They three endup race very closely

first place Woman’s push rim wheelchair: US defending champion Tatyana MacFadden, 26yrs from Clarkville MD, finishes 1:42:16 last year 1:52:54.

Around 11:50am, Women’s first flush finish line is Atsede Baysa 29 yrs old Eth with 2;29:19; Trfi Tsegaye 31 Eth 2:30:03; Joyce Chepkirui 27 Ken 2:30.50. US Neely Spence Gracey finishs 9th of 2:35:00. China team top runner LaMei Sun (27 yrs old and has children of twins) is coming out 89th with 3:00:31, she is the only runner from chinateam and her coach Tao expected she ran in 2:40’s.

Around 12:10noon: Men’s Lemi Berthanu Hayle 21 yrs Eth first ran over finish line with 2:12:45, Lelisa Desisa 26 yrs from Ambo Eth, came second 2:13:32,. and Yamane Adhane Isegay 31 yrs eth finishes third on 2:14:02.

Huge crowd waves came Boylston Street around 1pm through 5pm not endingup, They were surrounded by supporters, some athletes were assisted by coaches, relatives, media, police officers, medicalEMS, etc, also congratulated by Boston Mayors and BAAofficers .
